Consuming veggies and fruits that are green provides you with a variety of nutrients, the darker the green, the better the nutrition. Green produce are excellent sources of vitamin K, folic acid, potassium, and carotenoids. These can help reduce the risk of cancer, vision health, digestive health, lower blood pressure, fights off some types of infection, and can help prevent neural tube defects during pregnancy.

Some good examples of green veggies/fruits include cabbage, spinach, asparagus, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cantaloupe, kale, and green beans.
