Eat the Rainbow - Color White
Consuming veggies and fruits that have a whitish color have their own health benefits. They are associated with fighting cancer, strengthening bone tissue, and maintaining healthy blood vessels.
Just a few of these fruits and veggies include: Potatoes, mushrooms, cauliflower, bananas, and pears. Tips for increasing white produce in your diet: Put cauliflower in your blender to make “cauliflower rice” to use in place of typical grain rice. This is a low carb option that provides a variety of antioxidants. Cut a banana into bite sized pieces, top with peanut butter and a mini chocolate chip. Place in freezer until peanut butter has hardened. This make a sweet treat with a fraction of the calories of a candy bar.
