Cut the fat with grilling!

With this nice weather I can’t help but post some more grilling tips.  Here are some tips for cutting the fat in your diet and adding veggies to the meal…. ·        Grill some turkey burgers instead of ground beef. Ground turkey breast can be as lean as 99 percent fat-free. Add cilantro, dill, shallots or chili sauce to spice things up. ·        Go lean by grilling up a marinated Portobello burger, add a little salsa and low fat cheese for a Mexican flare ·        Portobello mushrooms on the grill also make a great pizza, add some sauce, low fat mozzarella and your favorite toppings. ·        Grilling kababs of beef or chicken with your favorite veggies (tomatoes, yellow or green squash, onions, peppers, etc) can be a great way to sneak in some veggies.
