Watermelon!! 🍉🍉

We have talked about some healthier picnic options in previous blogs.   

Here is another tip: Adding watermelon to any picnic can be a great low calorie addition.  Watermelon is fat free and low in calories -- 2 cups of diced pieces provides only 80 calories, vitamin A (25%), vitamin B6 (6%), vitamin C (30%), potassium (8%), magnesium (6%), thiamine (6%), phosphorus (4%).  Here are some other ways to serve up that oh so delicious watermelon: ·        Grill watermelon slices, then drizzle with honey and lime ·        Use it  with shrimp on a kebab. ·        Use watermelon in place of tomatoes in a citrus salsa. ·        Use its juice as a glaze on shrimp or pork.
